  • The Fellowship Committee hosts time for celebration and socializing outside of our worship environment. Immediately after each Sunday service, you are invited to join in the Parish Hall for coffee or tea, snacks, and conversation. You’ll find a friendly, welcoming environment for all parishioners and guests. This is an easy first step to meet new folks at St. Matthew’s in a relaxed way.

  • Saturdays, 8:30 - 10:00 am

    Centering Prayer is a renewal of an ancient form of Christian prayer. It is a method of consenting to the presence and action of Christ in the stillness of our being. It is an exercise of faith, hope and love, moving beyond conversation with Christ to communion. The fruit of this prayer is a growing sense of God’s leading us beyond anxiety into an inner stillness and peace, and outward in compassion and service. Anyone desiring to deepen his or her prayer life will benefit.

  • At St. Matthew’s, we’re excited to help you find your place in our vibrant parish community. Our Newcomer Committee is dedicated to walking alongside you as you explore and settle into life at St. Matthew’s. Whether you have questions about the Episcopal Church, are looking to meet for coffee, or simply want help navigating the many ways to get involved, we’re here to support you.

    We also host a Newcomer Gathering twice a year, where you can connect with other newcomers and meet a few long-time members. It’s a joyful way to build relationships and begin planting the seeds of lasting community.

    If you’re passionate about welcome and hospitality, we’d love to have you join the Newcomer Committee and help us extend a warm, personal invitation to others just finding their way here. There’s always room at the table!

  • The Wine Walk Committee is a wonderful way to have outreach for St. Matthew's and the community of Parker. Members of the committee and the parish help promote the church by pouring wine and serving snacks to the participants of the Chamber of Commerce Wine Walks.

    In the past, St. Matthew's has provided the community the interesting history of the church, music, respite from either the cold or heat and snacks for those that seek us out.

  • The Women’s Group at St. Matthew’s is a vibrant, welcoming space where women of all ages, identities, and backgrounds come together for fellowship, spiritual growth, and outreach. Rooted in Christ’s love, we support one another in living out the lives God has called us to—through connection, prayer, service, and joy.

    We embrace the full diversity of our community—every woman is welcome, regardless of theological views, life experience, or church background. Whether you’re new to St. Matthew’s or have been here for years, we’d love to get to know you!

  • Fourth Tuesday of the month, 6:00 pm

    The Men’s Group at St. Matthew’s offers a space for friendship, reflection, and service. We gather on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM to share a meal, good conversation, and explore how we can grow in faith and purpose together.

    All men are welcome—whether you're looking to connect more deeply with others, serve the community, or simply enjoy some fellowship over dinner.
